A source told Rob Shuter in his Substack ShuterScoop<\/a> that there needs to be some boundaries reset. \u201cThe kids love their dad, but they\u2019re just tired of having Jennifer Lopez around all the time,\u201d the insider said.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s not that they dislike her\u2014they just want normalcy and some space.\u201d<\/p>\n More from SheKnows<\/p>\n Another insider added,\u00a0\u201cTheir routines feel disrupted. Ben tries to balance it, but it\u2019s clear they\u2019re overwhelmed by the constant celebrity attention and Lopez being in the house so often.\u201d<\/p>\n The situation is apparently getting sticky for Affleck<\/a>, but it\u2019s hard to juggle everything at once. \u201cHe\u2019s trying to do right by everyone,\u201d the source said. Ben wants the kids to feel comfortable and happy, but blending a family in the public eye is never simple.\u201d<\/p>\n Lopez and Affleck filed for divorce in 2024 after the two reunited and married in 2022. Since they got married, they\u2019ve made it their mission to have a happy blended family. Affleck has three kids from his marriage to Jennifer Garner: Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13. It wasn\u2019t just about me giving them a great life. It was about me being there for them all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n Garner also recently talked about how she finds co-parenting with Affleck to be productive and nurturing for their kids. \u201cI\u2019m able to co-parent at this point in time with peace and equanimity and a partnership that I didn\u2019t know I would ever get back to,\u201d the 13 Going on 30 star told Marie Claire UK<\/a>. \u201cI think it\u2019s important for women to know, when they think, \u2018Oh, I\u2019ll never see that, I\u2019ll never have that feeling, I\u2019ll never be friends with this person again\u2019 [that] time is the opportunity.
