Manchester United<\/a> are continuing their efforts to bolster the club’s future in the background of an ongoing pursuit of Brentford<\/a> forward Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>. The Red Devils have made a raft of youthful signings under the INEOS<\/a> banner over the past year, utilising director of football Jason Wilcox and head of recruitment Christopher Vivell’s expertise.<\/p>\n

Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven both joined<\/a> from Arsenal<\/a> last summer and in January, respectively, and are already considered first-team players. Meanwhile, Sekou Kone arrived from Mali and is on the cusp of a breakthrough, and Diego Leon recently completed his switch<\/a> from Paraguay.<\/p>\n

United have also recruited Le Havre striker Enzo Kana-Biyik, immediately sending him out on loan to sister club Lausanne-Sport for his first taste of senior football.<\/p>\n

Harley Emsden-James, among England’s most highly rated teenage centre-backs, is another top prospect to have landed at Old Trafford, leaving Southampton.<\/p>\n

Now, two more are in United’s sights.<\/p>\n

According to The Athletic<\/a>, the M16 giants are locked in talks to sign Fulham’s Seth Ridgeon and Manchester City<\/a>‘s Tyrese Noubissie.<\/p>\n

The pair of 16-year-old midfielders are among the country’s most highly-regarded in their age group and could soon continue their pathway at Carrington.<\/p>\n

Ridgeon, an attacking midfielder and captain of the England Under-17 side, is also being chased by Chelsea<\/a>, Liverpool<\/a> and Manchester City<\/a>. He has already represented Fulham’s Under-21s.<\/p>\n

But it is claimed that United are in pole position to snatch him from west London, despite Fulham’s ongoing push to retain his talent.<\/p>\n

Noubissie joined Man City<\/a> from Leicester City in 2023 for around \u00a31million but is already expected to leave, having found development opportunities hard to come by.<\/p>\n

United are named as one of several clubs circling the 6ft 2in midfield man, who can operate in a deeper or box-to-box role.<\/p>\n

The Scotland-born ace, who also has British and French passports, is believed to be on the radar of European suitors, including RB Leipzig and Strasbourg.<\/p>\n

The report adds that United’s efforts are led by head of academy recruitment Luke Fedorenko and outgoing director of academy Nick Cox, who has been appointed as Everton’s technical director.<\/p>\n

Both starlets are said to have toured Old Trafford and Carrington as they decide on their futures.<\/p>\n
