{"id":401578,"date":"2026-01-11T19:23:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T19:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/401578\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T19:23:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T19:23:14","slug":"ucla-lands-washington-wr-marcus-harris-from-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/401578\/","title":{"rendered":"UCLA Lands Washington WR Marcus Harris from Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/college\/washington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Washington<\/a> receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/247Sports.com\/Player\/Marcus-Harris-46117120\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Marcus Harris<\/a> is headed back to the Southland with his transfer to UCLA.<\/p>\n<p>After going into the portal on Friday morning, Harris was visiting UCLA this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>UCLA was one of the finalists for Harris in high school, and actually was thought to be the team to beat down the stretch before he committed to Oklahoma.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He ultimately flipped to Washington, where he played in just one game this season, the Los Angeles Bowl.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/13548081.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"619\"\/> (Photo: Getty)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 6-1, 190 helped the Monarchs win consecutive CIF Open Division state titles.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0is unrated as a transfer, and was a high three-star with a rating of 89 out of\u00a0Santa Ana (Calif.)
