Golden Globes introduced a new category,<\/a> for best podcast. The nominees are Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang With Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast, SmartLess and NPR\u2019s Up First.<\/p>\n\n\t\u201cThere are so many podcasts out there, I think it\u2019s really appropriate, actually, to open up that category,\u201d Weiss recently told THR. \u201cPeople are getting their content and their entertainment in many different forms.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tA total of 28 awards will be handed out Sunday night.<\/p>\n
\n\tGolden Globes producer Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge that also owns\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n
