CHAPEL Hill, N.C.\u00a0\u00a0\u2013\u00a0No. 3 University of North Carolina women’s tennis claimed a dominant 7-0 win over Campbell to open the 2026 season Sunday afternoon at Chewning Tennis Center.\u00a0

\nCarolina started the day with doubles action picking up two 6-0 wins to clinch the doubles point. Partners Reese Brantmeier<\/a>\/Alanis Hamilton<\/a> and Oby Kajuru<\/a>\/Susanna Maltby<\/a> secured the dominant victories for the Tar Heels against their opponents from Campbell.\u00a0

\nIn singles play, Tatum Evans<\/a> got UNC started with a straight set win over Jessica Maras from Campbell. All of Carolina’s singles victories came in straight sets. Singles action also featured Anna Frey’s<\/a> first career win after topping her opponent from Campbell, 6-1, 6-0.\u00a0
