Alex Ovechkin<\/a> and Steven Stamkos<\/a> traded goals in the first period<\/a>, in what some are calling (okay, just me) an Unc Off.<\/p>\n

Stamkos, however, had the highlight-reel play of the second period, going head-over-heels after crashing into Charlie Lindgren<\/a> in a puck race.<\/p>\n

Upon closer look, Lindgren poke-checked the puck away first as he slid his stick along the ice, but as Stamkos arrived, his goalie twig slid up into Stamkos\u2019s berries, flipping the future Hockey Hall of Famer high into the air.<\/p>\n

And to be clear, by berries, I mean Stamkos\u2019s nads. His stones. His cojones.<\/p>\n

Alan May was amused while Monumental Sports Network aired the highlight during the second intermission. \u201cWatch where this stick goes in Steve Stamkos,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The word I think May\u2019s looking for here is testicles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was amazing he was able to get up and walk away from that one,\u201d May concluded.<\/p>\n

After the game, Stamkos commented on the play. He was thankfully \u201cno worse for wear\u201d and his voice wasn\u2019t an octave higher.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a good pole vault,\u201d Stamkos said<\/a>. \u201cNever pole-vaulted before, but as soon as I felt that stick kinda get caught in my groin, then went up in the air, it was a little scary.
