Former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh already has a long list of potential landing spots following his firing this past week.

During an appearance on NFL GameDay Morning, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero named the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins as the leading suitors for Harbaugh.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter also linked the 63-year-old to the Green Bay Packers if they move on from head coach Matt LaFleur.

Pelissero explained that Harbaugh is expected to begin interviewing for head coacing jobs “later this week,” and he’s already “spent the past couple of days watching tape, talking to people about different situations.” He went on to detail each team’s level of interest in him.

“The Giants have been recruiting Harbaugh hard since the Ravens fired him on Tuesday,” Pelissero said. “The Falcons are the only team that does not have a GM in place, which could allow Harbaugh to bring his preferred guy. The Dolphins have interest, although they already hired a GM who has no ties to John Harbaugh. And don’t count out the Titans who have a lot of resources and a dynamic young quarterback in Cam Ward to sell to potential candidates. Expect decisions on Monday about where he visits first.”

Still, Schefter noted that the Packers “might vault to the top of John Harbaugh’s list as the top available choice for him” because of his “deep midwestern roots and ties.” Also, Harbaugh’s agent is Bryan Harlan, the son of former Packers team president Bob Harlan.

It remains to be seen if Green Bay is ready to cut ties with LaFleur following Saturday’s disappointing playoff loss to the Chicago Bears, but it sounds like the team would have a strong chance of getting Harbaugh as his replacement despite the interest from other franchises in need of a new head coach.

Former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh already has a long list of potential landing spots following his…

[63
349,99
post-404005","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nfl","tag-nfl","tag-sports
["GET
