The guitarist added the Glaswegian quartet \u201cdecided the 50th anniversary of Rough Trade was an appropriate time to get back together &#8230; been a strange ride remembering the songs!\u201d He also promised there will be \u201cat least\u201d one warm-up show, likely in Glasgow, with \u201cpossibly more\u201d to come.<\/p>\n<p>Formed in 1999 by fellow Glasgow School of Art students Gray, Will Bradley, and Chris Evans, Life Without Buildings began as an all-instrumental outfit before recruiting vocalist Sue Tompkins to join. The band released its lone studio album, 2001\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/19181-life-without-buildings-any-other-city\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Any Other City<\/a>, on Rough Trade Records, and broke up a year later.
