While we continue to delude ourselves into believing the Keith Moon film<\/a> will see the light of day, Mr. Crowley put something fresh on the chalkboard for us to think about. A \u201cphenomenal, phenomenal actor\u201d has been cast as Ozzy Osbourne in his upcoming biopic, a project that had been in development for years prior to his death in 2025. Ozzy\u2019s son, Jack Osbourne, relayed the casting news to SiriusXM<\/a> in a new interview but refused to share any names. \u201cWe have a director attached, and we\u2019re doing a rewrite right now,\u201d Jack said, adding that his father approved of the biopic but showed little interest in following its progress. \u201cHe just would go, \u2018I don\u2019t give a shit. Just tell me when it\u2019s out so I can go see it.\u2019\u201d Jack previously<\/a> said the film would take place during the 20-year period from 1979 to 1999 \u2014 Osbourne\u2019s solo debut, Blizzard of Ozz, was released in 1980 \u2014 and would focus heavily on the relationship between Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne. Jack and Sharon\u2019s dream casting at the time was Bill Hader, which was met with a resounding \u201cfuck off\u201d from the clown prince of rock. Well, since those Beatles biopics<\/a> sucked up the talent pool of hot and talented U.K. leading men, maybe it will be an American.<\/p>\n
