\u201cYou would not think that people are walking around my house asking me to make them food, but that is definitely happening to me,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
Speaking with TODAY.com in partnership with Dunkin\u2019, the three-time Grammy winner has risen from humble beginnings to the top of the music game with several No. 1 hits and an entire season in her musical chokehold<\/a>, and she says her love of cooking is a big part of her offstage life.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s something as basic as a breakfast sandwich,\u201d she says, adding that her cooking often skews Southern due to her roots. \u201cIt\u2019s just bread, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, little hot sauce, little mayo, and I don\u2019t know why it tastes so good.\u201d<\/p>\n Megan says her go-to dishes include roast beef with potatoes (which she says she\u2019s \u201cfiguring out\u201d the ideal recipe for), oxtails<\/a> and spaghetti.<\/p>\n The latter is documented in an August 2025 TikTok<\/a> in which she prepares pasta with catfish<\/a>, a Southern delicacy, for boyfriend Klay Thompson, who she says asks for it \u201clike every week.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m getting in my bag. I\u2019m getting in my wifely era,\u201d she tells TODAY.com.<\/p>\n Indeed, the rapper cycles through several monikers like Tina Snow and H-town Hottie, but in her cooking videos, she\u2019s the Hot Girl Chef.<\/p>\n She\u2019s shared everything from a cooking tutorial on fried Hot Cheeto pickles<\/a> to a cookbook-worthy Thanksgiving<\/a> spread she prepared before meeting Thompson\u2019s family, which included several sides, dressing, a brined and basted turkey and barbecue baked beans \u2014 a recipe she\u2019s keeping close to the chest.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I can\u2019t just be giving out my secret recipes now. My grandma would in an uproar, OK?\u201d she says, but offers a tidbit of info. \u201cJust know that it\u2019s packed with lots of meat, lots of vegetables.\u201d<\/p>\n Megan is enjoying the release of her aerobics-inspired ad<\/a> for Dunkin\u2019 to launch Protein Milk<\/a> and her own drink: Megan\u2019s Mango Protein Refresher.<\/p>\n She says she\u2019s not into \u201csugary drinks,\u201d so the drink is subtly sweet with mango flavor mixed with Protein Milk, which pairs well with her smooth original track for the commercial.<\/p>\n \u201cI had already been working on a song about working out and I didn\u2019t know when I was gonna drop it,\u201d she says, so she kept the track on ice for a while. Then Dunkin\u2019 called.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the Dunkin\u2019 collab came to me and they were like, \u2018Oh yeah, and by the way, we need a song,\u2019\u201d Megan says. \u201cI was like, \u2018God, boom, I have it. I have the perfect home for this song.\u2019 This is when opportunity just meets preparedness. So boom, here we go.\u201d<\/p>\n While her composing and rapping prowess flows through the airwaves, her cooking acumen stays in her home kitchen at the moment. But, when asked, she said she is open to doing a culinary show \u2014 or a cooking segment on a certain morning TV show.<\/p>\n \u201cI definitely would,\u201d she says. \u201cHit me up.\u201d<\/p>\n
