\n Ohio State has now lost all three of its freshman defensive tackles from last season. <\/p>\n
\n\tTrajen Odom, the last defensive tackle standing from Ohio State\u2019s 2025 recruiting class, entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.\n<\/p>\n

Carter has since transferred to Miam<\/a>i while Roy is transferring to\u00a0UCLA<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \n\tOdom becomes the fourth overall defensive tackle to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season, also joining redshirt sophomore Eric Mensah<\/a>, who transferred to Virginia Tech. Ohio State still has nine scholarship defensive tackle on its roster for 2026, including a pair of transfer additions in James Smith<\/a> (Alabama) and John Walker<\/a> (UCF).\n<\/p>\n \n\tOdom is the eighth member of Ohio State\u2019s 2025 freshman class to enter the portal after just one year as a Buckeye, also joining wide receivers Quincy Porter and Bodpegn Miller, offensive linemen Jayvon McFadden and Isaiah Kema and safety Faheem Delane.\n<\/p>\n \n\tOhio State has now lost 30 total scholarship players to the transfer portal since the end of the season.\n<\/p>\n
