Zoe Salda\u00f1a on Tuesday night revealed that she is now the highest-grossing actor of all time after her leading role in “Avatar: Fire and Ash.”<\/p>\n

According to Variety<\/a>, Salda\u00f1a has had roles in the three highest-grossing films ever \u2014 2009’s “Avatar,” its sequel “The Way of Water,” and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.” <\/p>\n

Salda\u00f1a eclipsed Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson for the No. 1 spot after the third “Avatar” movie, which has earned $1.23 billion. <\/a><\/p>\n

NBC News has reached out to Salda\u00f1a, Jackson and Johansson for comment. <\/p>\n

Salda\u00f1a posted a thank-you on Instagram on Tuesday following the news. <\/p>\n

“I just want to express my sincerest gratitude for the extraordinary journey that has led me to become the highest-grossing film actor of all time today,” Salda\u00f1a said, adding that the achievement was made possible by the “incredible franchises and the collaborators that I have been fortunate to be a part of.” <\/p>\n

“To every director who placed their trust in me, thank you,” Salda\u00f1a continued, calling out JJ Abrams, Joe and Anthony Russo, and James Gunn. <\/p>\n

She also gave a special thanks to James Cameron “for believing in my potential for seeing something in me that I have not always seen in myself, for challenging me to always rise to the occasion.” <\/p>\n

Salda\u00f1a also thanked her fans around the world.<\/p>\n

“Your unwavering support, passion, and loyalty are the true foundation of this milestone,” she said. “None of this exists without you showing up time and time again with open hearts and enthusiasm.” <\/p>\n
