The famous YouTuber, 27, made wild claims about how much money he has in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s funny talking about my personal finances because no one ever believes anything I say, because they\u2019re like, \u2018You\u2019re a billionaire,\u2019\u201d MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, said. \u201cI\u2019m like, that\u2019s net worth.\u201d<\/p>\n MrBeast speaks onstage during the 2025 New York Times Dealbook Summit on December 3. Fortune <\/a>reported in Sept. 2025 that his company, Beast Industries, which he owns a little more than half of, is worth $5 billion.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually \u2026 I have negative money right now,\u201d he claimed in the interview. \u201cI\u2019m borrowing money. That\u2019s how little money I have. I wake up, I just work. I\u2019m just so busy working. AP<\/p>\n Despite his finance claims, MrBeast revealed that he recently splurged to see his fianc\u00e9e,\u00a0Thea Booysen.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was studying in the UK and I really wanted to see her,\u201d he explained. \u201cI don\u2019t live near a major airport. I have to drive two hours to an airport to then take a layover to take a layover to get to places. One time I was like, \u2018Screw it. I\u2019m just gonna rent a private jet and fly to her because I really want to see her.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut if I don\u2019t rent a PJ, I literally just can\u2019t make it work,\u201d he continued. \u201cA PJ flight is eight hours, whereas, commercial it\u2019d be like 19 there and back.
