In the wake of Leonardo DiCaprio going viral after he was filmed having an uncharacteristically animated conversation<\/a> with an unknown attendee at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday night, one of his \u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d co-stars has revealed who he was speaking to. <\/p>\n

In footage shared on the Golden Globes official TikTok page<\/a>, DiCaprio, 51, appeared to be enthusiastically chatting with someone across the table during the ceremony. The moment sparked curiosity among fans who wondered who he could have been talking to and what was being discussed. <\/p>\n

In a new interview with Access Hollywood<\/a>, Teyana Taylor, 35, revealed that DiCaprio was speaking to her in the clip, adding that they were likely discussing the animated Netflix film \u201cKPop Demon Hunters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe crazy part about it is, I\u2019m so blacked out from that day, that I want to say we might have been talking about \u2018KPop Demon Hunters,\u2018\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cBecause I was so happy when they won, because my kids [Iman \u201cJunie\u201d Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert] love \u2018KPop Demon Hunters.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

The musical movie took home awards for Best Animated Film and Best Original Song for the hit tune \u201cGolden.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor confessed that she didn\u2019t know if she even heard exactly what DiCaprio was saying. She also told Access Hollywood that she was unaware at the time that the \u201cwhole moment was being captured\u201d on film.<\/p>\n

Despite fans\u2019 astonishment over DiCaprio\u2019s playful shenanigans and light-hearted vibes in the clip, Taylor said he had always showcased his personality with her. In an interview with The New York Times<\/a> last September, Taylor said that she and DiCaprio had kindled a friendship years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cFunny thing: Me and Leo actually met at Diana Ross\u2019s birthday party some years back and instantly became best buds,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s my wingman, my partner in crime!\u201d<\/p>\n

DiCaprio has sung Taylor\u2019s praises in return. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s got the best sense of humor,\u201d he told E! News<\/a> at the premiere of their film in September. \u201cI knew when she was brought into this movie, I was like, \u2018This girl is gonna bring the heat.\u2019 And she did. She\u2019s an amazing hang. She\u2019s awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n
