Hailee Steinfeld<\/a> may now be a bona fide Buffalo Bills<\/a> fan thanks to hubby Josh Allen, but a decade ago, her heart belonged to another team: the Denver Broncos<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the 2016 Super Bowl<\/a>, which saw the Broncos defeat the Carolina Panthers 24-10, the \u201cSinners\u201d actress made her allegiance to Broncos Nation crystal clear. <\/p>\n Steinfeld shared a photo of herself at the big game sporting a bright orange Denver jacket and dabbing<\/a> with her arms. She enthusiastically captioned the post<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter): \u201cHELL YEAH BRONCOS!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n On Wednesday, that nearly 10-year-old tweet resurfaced at a particularly sensitive time. The Broncos are set to face the Bills this Saturday in one of the biggest matchups of the season, as Buffalo continues its high-stakes hunt for its first-ever Super Bowl title.<\/a><\/p>\n Football fans on both sides were quick to jump on the throwback photo.<\/p>\n \u201cHAILEE DELETE THIS NOW!!!\u201d wrote<\/a> a worried fan. Other users echoed the same sentiment.<\/p>\n \u201cSupports a better team now #billsmafia,\u201d countered<\/a> a second user. <\/p>\n \u201cShe rooting for her Broncos in her heart , but she repping Bills for her Hubby,\u201d teased<\/a> a Broncos fan. Another trolled<\/a>: \u201cDon\u2019t worry we\u2019ll win for you.\u201d<\/p>\n Other comments read<\/a>, \u201cAyeeee yooooo this is a crazy find!!!\u201c and<\/a> \u201dWell, this is awkward for Josh Allen.”<\/p>\n While it\u2019s unclear how long Steinfeld\u2019s loyalty to Denver lasted, she likely traded the orange swag for \u201cBills Blue\u201d in 2023 when she began dating Allen<\/a>.<\/p>\n The couple went Instagram official in July 2024 and got engaged<\/a> four months later. In May 2025, the pair married in a gorgeous Ventura, California, wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, Steinfeld announced that she and Allen are expecting their first child<\/a> in her Beau Society Substack newsletter, which included a video of Allen kissing Steinfeld\u2019s stomach.<\/p>\n She later shared the news on Instagram with a simple red heart emoji, which Allen commented on with the message: \u201cI love you.\u201d<\/p>\n On Saturday, the quarterback and soon-to-be father will travel with his teammates to Empower Field at Mile High to face the Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round<\/a>. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. EST on CBS.<\/p>\n Whether Steinfeld will be in attendance is unclear.
