Teddi Mellencamp\u2019s dad also has a soft side to him, which came to the fore during his daughter\u2019s battle with cancer and how he stood by her side through her treatments and aftercare.<\/p>\n

The rock and roll legend gave Rogan and his audience a piece of his mind on how politics should work in line with his views about life. According to him, his beliefs are rooted in humility and not taking oneself \u201cso f-cking seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

John then switched the direction of his rant towards politicians who fail to emulate these sterling traits of his. In his words verbatim: \u201cThat\u2019s what I hate about politics today. There’s no f-cking humility. How about some humility, I don\u2019t care what party you’re with. I don\u2019t give a f-ck.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted on The Joe Rogan Experience<\/a> podcast on Wednesday that politicians do not \u201cshow some humility and some respect for each other,\u201d which is a very terrible way to approach things.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From his fantasies to his beliefs and dramatic pasts, John really spilled the tea on the over 2-hour-long show. He disclosed his genius plans to embark on a \u201cgreatest hits\u201d tour, which is very unlike something he has done before.<\/p>\n

John explained that now that he is in his 70s, he has started seeing his career and life in a very different light, which demands that he take very bold decisions. He posted a lengthy rant on Twitter (now known as X) in 2022 that so many people lose their lives to gun violence, only to be buried and forgotten \u201cwith a flimsy little thumbnail, a vague notion of some sort of gun control law laying on the senators\u2019 desks.\u201d<\/p>\n

John noted that the pro-life rhetoric often spun by some of the politicians has failed to reflect in their actions, as they barely care about people, including children who have unfortunately lost their lives to these shootings. The singer assured his readers that if urgent action is not taken, it will repeat itself over and over again.<\/p>\n

The musician argued thus: \u201cWhen people are for the country right or wrong, America right or wrong, it’s a lot like Germany. Nationalism is a bad thing. A source close to the family emphasized that John has never stopped seeing Teddi as his little girl and would do anything to make her feel better, even though he was worried about the outcome of the surgery. Despite the success of the surgery, Teddi reportedly endured a great deal of pain, and John could not bear it.<\/p>\n

Since he could not magically lift her pain, the insider revealed that he channeled all that energy into making sure Teddi received the best care possible as she recovered.<\/p>\n
