Carlos Alcaraz is chasing his maiden Australian Open title.

The 2026 Australian Open<\/a> will kick off Sunday, when No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> and Alexander Zverev<\/a> will compete in the season’s first major. <\/p>\n

Alcaraz will begin his quest for a career Grand Slam against Australian Adam Walton<\/a>. The Spaniard leads 1-0 in the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head series. Zverev, who finished runner-up last year, will play Canadian Gabriel Diallo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other action Sunday, Alexander Bublik<\/a> meets American Jenson Brooksby<\/a>, Francisco Cerundolo<\/a> plays Zhang Zhizhen<\/a>, Flavio Cobolli<\/a> faces Arthur Fery<\/a> and Frances Tiafoe<\/a> takes on Jason Kubler<\/a>.<\/p>\n
