\n\tSafety Cody Haddad is entering the transfer portal with a full four years of eligibility remaining. The Ohio native will be looking for a new home to continue his development.\n<\/p>\n

He was considered the No. 523 overall recruit<\/a> and No. 45 safety in the class of 2025 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He never played a snap for Ohio State as a freshman, taking a redshirt year.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThere was no clear path to playing time for Haddad in the near future, either. The Buckeyes added two safeties through the transfer portal to start alongside Jaylen McClain in 2026: Terry Moore<\/a> (Duke) and Earl Little Jr.<\/a> (Florida State). Rising redshirt sophomore Leroy Roker III saw use in dime packages for Ohio State in 2025 and projects to be first off the bench in 2026. Redshirt freshman Deshawn Stewart is a higher-rated prospect from Haddad’s class.\n<\/p>\n \n\tHaddad is the ninth member of the 2025 recruiting class to enter the transfer portal and the\u00a031st Buckeye overall. Ohio State signed four safeties in its 2026 recruiting class: Four-stars Blaine Bradford<\/a>, Simeon Caldwell<\/a>\u00a0and Khmari Bing<\/a>\u00a0and three-star Kaden Gebhardt.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n
