\u2022 NBA All-Star 2026: Complete coverage<\/a><\/p>\n

The NBA will announce the 2026 All-Star Game starters on Monday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC\/Peacock prior to the Thunder-Cavs (2:30 p.m. ET)<\/a> game which is part of a 9-game slate on MLK Day<\/a>. The NBA is continuing the tradition of playing on MLK Day with this year marking the 40th edition of games played on the holiday.<\/p>\n

Ten All-Star starters will be announced Monday, 5 from each conference. The All-Stars reserves will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Don\u010di\u0107 and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo were announced as the leaders of the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, in the second fan returns<\/a> of NBA All-Star Voting 2026.<\/p>\n

The 2026 All-Star Game will\u00a0feature a new format<\/a>\u00a0in which two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players (known as the World team). Those teams will compete in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games. The three teams will each have a minimum of eight players.<\/p>\n

As in the past, 24 NBA All-Stars (12 from each conference) will be selected as follows: The five players honored as starters from each conference will be selected by fans (50% of the vote), current NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%), and the seven players honored as reserves from each conference will be selected by NBA head coaches.<\/p>\n

This year, the All-Stars will be selected without regard to position.
