After Real Housewives of Salt Lake City\u2019s Lisa Barlow<\/a> name-dropped Ben Affleck<\/a> as an excuse to get out of filming for the reality show, the actor is weighing in.<\/p>\n

Affleck, 53, shared his two cents on the drama during an interview with Access Hollywood <\/a>which dropped on Friday, January 16.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/a>, cast member Lisa Barlow is saying that she was with you at an event with her husband and she wasn\u2019t able to film. The cast members don\u2019t believe her. So the question is, do you know who Lisa Barlow is?\u201d the interviewer asked.<\/p>\n

Affleck appeared confused as he responded, \u201cI don\u2019t want to get anybody in trouble or \u2013 I don\u2019t know what this is \u2013 an event in Salt Lake City? Like, prove somebody right or wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n

Access Hollywood\u2019s reporter clarified that Barlow, 51, never specified which exact event she was attending that caused her to skip out on her filming responsibilities, but it was likely an event held in Utah.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t been in Utah in maybe, 8, 9 or 10 years, I don\u2019t know,\u201d Affleck said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t look familiar to me and I don\u2019t remember anything.<\/p>\n

Although The Rip star thought it was unlikely he was at the event Barlow was referring to, he noted that there was a chance that they may have crossed paths and it has just slipped his mind due to so many people being at these types of events.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to embarrass her because, I say hi to a lot of people, I don\u2019t want to be the jerk who is like, I did meet you\u2026 You don\u2019t remember everyone you meet,\u201d Affleck said.<\/p>\n

The Gone Girl star concluded, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m qualified to weigh in on this, whatever this raging controversy is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barlow memorably missed the first cast trip of RHOSLC season 6, telling Angie Katsanevas that she didn\u2019t want to spend time with Bronwyn Newport, as well as claiming she was too busy with work commitments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to spend the night with Bronwyn. She\u2019s a pathological liar. She can\u2019t tell the truth to save her life. It\u2019s like, disgusting,\u201d Barlow said. \u201cAlso, I have a work thing. It\u2019s like, a big deal. I think what people forget is I have a very full life. Because I keep it kinda private. And like, I\u2019m not gonna drop names, but like, I\u2019ll be with Ben [Affleck] and Blake [Lively].\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI\u2019ll be with Ben Affleck and you\u2019ll be with Bronwyn.\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as blaming Affleck for her absence from RHOSLC, Barlow has also brought up the A-lister in the past.<\/p>\n

Following news of Affleck\u2019s divorce from Jennifer Lopez in August 2024, Barlow shared a throwback photo of herself<\/a> with Affleck via her Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always throw a great house party,\u201d Barlow wrote alongside the Instagram Story, which was set to Lopez\u2019s song \u201cIf You Had My Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024.\u00a0 The former couple initially married in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, before celebrating with a larger event in Georgia on August 20, 2022.<\/p>\n
