The Washington Capitals haven\u2019t pieced together a winning streak since the first week of December<\/a>. Tonight, against the Florida Panthers, they\u2019ll try to get Win 1 again before going on the road for a while.<\/p>\n

The Panthers return to DC after getting destroyed 9-1 by the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night. The day before, the Panthers celebrated their 2025 Stanley Cup championship with President Trump.<\/p>\n

The Capitals will be without Tom Wilson<\/a> for a seventh straight game and Justin Sourdif<\/a>. Ivan Miroshnichenko is up from Hershey and will play. Logan Thompson<\/a> will get the start and oppose Danill Tarasov on Florida\u2019s end.<\/p>\n

One final important note: Tonight is Pride Night at Capital One Arena. And for me, I wish every night at Capital One Arena was like this.
