Former Kennesaw State<\/a> WR Christian Moss<\/a> has committed to Washington<\/a> out of the NCAA transfer portal, per On3\u2019s Pete Nakos. Moss also considered Boise State and West Virginia during his recruitment.<\/p>\n

A Georgia native, Moss began his career at Virginia Tech<\/a> where he appeared in six games. There, he recorded six receptions for 71 yards before transferring to Kennesaw State for the next two seasons. He finished his time as an Owl with 23 games played where he compiled 59 catches for 892 yards and 4 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

During the 2025 season, Moss totaled 45 receptions for 689 yards and 2 touchdowns. He now has one year of eligibility to play for Jedd Fisch\u2019s Huskies. <\/p>\n

Moss is the sixth player to commit to Washington this transfer portal cycle. According to On3\u2019s rankings, Wahington has the 47th-ranked portal class in the country. Relatedly, the Huskies have lost 17 names to the portal.<\/p>\n

On3\u2019s Team Transfer Portal Index utilizes the On3 (P)erformance score to measure a team\u2019s production during the transfer process, compared relative against its roster and not a comparison against other schools. This proprietary algorithm determines if a school has improved its overall team talent, stayed the same, or declined in talent during the transfer window.<\/p>\n

A lot had been made about the apparent portal entry of Washington QB Demond Williams Jr., who\u00a0announced his intentions<\/a>\u00a0to enter the\u00a0transfer portal<\/a>\u00a0despite signing a new contract at UW the previous week. In light of his decision, Washington was preparing to\u00a0enforce the terms of the deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On3\u2019s\u00a0Pete Nakos<\/a>\u00a0said the school had no intention of entering Williams\u2019 name in the portal because of the signed contract. There was dialogue between Williams and Washington over the next several days as the two sides discussed a potential return. <\/p>\n

Williams eventually announced he was coming back, after all. Now, Washington has added Christian Moss as one of his wideouts for the 2026 college football season.<\/p>\n
