Manchester United<\/a> may have one of the deals of the century lined up in terms of an exit for Marcus Rashford<\/a>, according to reports – and it’s one that INEOS must do with no hesitation to really get fans on board at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

INEOS’ transfer business hasn’t been ideal at times, with the incomings of Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte being questioned, whilst their timings of sackings managerially have put them in doubt.<\/p>\n

Yet the chance to land Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> star Bradley Barcola in a swap deal for Rashford may have presented itself to the Red Devils – a deal they need to jump at.<\/p>\n

The report by CaughtOffside has stated that Barcelona are ‘increasingly convinced’ that Rashford should remain at the club on a permanent basis<\/a>, due to his performances, professionalism and attitude at the Camp Nou.<\/p>\n

However, the report further adds that PSG have admired Rashford for ‘years’, and have explored a potential swap deal for the born-and-bred Mancunian involving Bradley Barcola.<\/p>\n

Although Rashford doesn’t wish to move to Ligue 1, it’s a move that could bear him fruit in the future given the titles and European accolades they’ve achieved in recent years.<\/p>\n

And, for United, it would mark a real opportunity to land one of the best young players in the world<\/a> in a swap for a player who, despite being developed and raised at Old Trafford, has five years on his French counterpart.<\/p>\n

INEOS Have Had Their Downfalls, But This Would Give Them Credibility<\/p>\n

For United, it would be an unbelievable deal and although it would be a shame to see their homegrown icon depart the club, it would be too good to turn down.<\/p>\n

For all of INEOS’ shortcomings, including the hiring and firing of Ruben Amorim and Erik ten Hag in their two years in the job, as well as issues surrounding day-to-day cost-cutting measures at Old Trafford, this would certainly be up there with the best pieces of business they’ve done.<\/p>\n

Barcola joined PSG two-and-a-half years ago after bursting onto the scene at Lyon, with the capital club exuding their control on French football as a monopoly.<\/p>\n

Last season, the wing prodigy bagged 21 goals in an incredible 64 games, with 14 coming in Ligue 1, and seven coming in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

With a further 18 caps for France, he’s been in superb form for club and country and at just 23, Barcola has time to develop. First-team minutes may be in doubt due to the form of Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and United should capitalise.<\/p>\n
