{"id":417289,"date":"2026-01-19T20:01:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T20:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/417289\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T20:01:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T20:01:07","slug":"hawks-porzingis-risacher-to-miss-at-least-another-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/417289\/","title":{"rendered":"Hawks&#8217; Porzingis, Risacher to miss at least another week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jan 19, 2026, 01:42 PM ET<\/p>\n<p>ATLANTA &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/3102531\/kristaps-porzingis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kristaps Porzingis<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/5211175\/zaccharie-risacher\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zaccharie Risacher<\/a> will miss at least another week for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/atl\/atlanta-hawks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Hawks<\/a> while recovering from injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Porzingis sat out his sixth straight game when the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/jalen-johnson-atlanta-hawks-milwaukee-bucks-atlanta-milwaukee-ef84726953b748dea75453608020ecf7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hawks hosted the <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/mil\/milwaukee-bucks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> on Monday. He has been dealing with left Achilles tendinitis in another season married by injuries and illness.<\/p>\n<p>Risacher, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, missed his sixth straight game because of a left knee bone contusion.<\/p>\n<p>Both players will be reevaluated in about a week, the team said.<\/p>\n<p>Porzingis has played just 17 games for the Hawks after being acquired last summer from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/bos\/boston-celtics\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Celtics<\/a>.
