Here we go again. We\u2019ve got another crusty old white man spouting off about shit he doesn\u2019t know or understand. This time, it\u2019s Pink Floyd<\/a>\u00a0co-founder\u00a0Roger Waters<\/a>\u00a0doubling down on some past stupid shit he said about Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> after his death.<\/p>\n

During a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored<\/a>, Waters was debating a number of geopolitical issues before Morgan brought up anger the musician had stirred up after talking shit about Ozzy, referencing statements from both Sharon and Jack Osbourne. Morgan said he took Waters\u2019 comments personally because he\u2019d been a friend of the Prince of Darkness for some time.<\/p>\n

All of this kicked off last August when Waters had an interview with\u00a0The Independent Ink<\/a>. In that discussion,\u00a0Waters said some stupid, ill-informed nonsense on the late\u00a0Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>\u2018s passing and the legacy of\u00a0Black Sabbath<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOzzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life. We\u2019ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn\u2019t give a fuck.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn\u2019t care less, you know.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Naturally, the Osbournes responded, with Jack Osbourne ultimately firing back in perhaps the most pointed way of the bunch.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey Roger Waters, fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you\u2019ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a cunt. Thanks for proving him right.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Waters attempted to defend himself by saying his comments happened during a lengthy interview, but that he didn\u2019t deny that he\u2019d said it. He eventually said he\u2019d apologize for what he said before taking that courtesy back once he started talking about Sharon.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot that I have any time for Sharon Osbourne, she\u2019s a raging Zionist and in consequence\u2026 she\u2019s accused me of all kinds of things. Because she\u2019s part of the Israeli lobby.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Waters has long been a vocal supporter of Palestine and an opponent to the genocide that Israel continues to perpetuate in the region. He\u2019s also been a\u00a0supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement<\/a>. Both stances are definitely against the pro-Israeli stance that\u00a0Sharon\u2019s taken in the past<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As for Jack, Waters said he\u2019d be happy to sit down and have a discussion with him if he wanted to.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry you lost your dad, Jack. But you have conversations about things and about people. \u2018What do you think?\u2019 Well, not a lot. I was honest. I said I didn\u2019t like Black Sabbath\u2026 I\u2019ve listened to some of it since and the music is perfectly kind of acceptable. It was all the kind of histrionics.
