Former TV actress Heather Thomas was spotted in a rare outing in Los Angeles, years after she stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight.<\/p>\n

Thomas, 67, was seen smoking a cigarette while wearing white cutoff denim shorts and a camo-print T-shirt in photos shared by the Daily Mail<\/a>. Her long blond hair was loose around her shoulders, and she topped off the look with a wide-brim hat and white sneakers.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s best known for playing Jody Banks on the hit \u201980s series The Fall Guy, opposite TV heartthrob Lee Majors<\/a>. After dealing with terrifying incidents involving multiple stalkers, Thomas officially retired from acting in the \u201990s. She and Majors, 86, delighted fans when they reunited for a mid-credits cameo in the 2024 Fall Guy film adaptation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Thomas has previously been open about the situations dealing with obsessed fans, and she spoke about it during a March appearance on the \u201cStill Here Hollywood<\/a>\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just getting so many stalkers,\u201d Thomas told podcast host Steve Kmetko. \u201cI had tons of restraining orders. I had two little girls, and a guy’s jumping our gate with a giant buck knife. In those days, I don’t know if this is true now, but people would fixate. You could be in a soap commercial, and they would fixate on you.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThere weren’t a lot of stalker laws, and I just needed to be home anyway. Someone sent me a box of bullets, and people would send me funeral wreaths they stole from a graveyard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Red Blooded American Girl star also recalled one of the scariest moments that led to her shooting a man that broke into her house.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always had a bodyguard in the house because that’s where I didn’t want to come home to a dark house,\u201d Thomas explained. \u201cI had one guy one night cut my screen in my bedroom and got in, and I shot him with [rock] salt and birdshot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since retiring from acting, Thomas has focused on her writing. She published her first novel, Trophies, in 2008.<\/p>\n
