No class, no problem for Miami quarterback Carson Beck.<\/p>\n

Several online accounts claimed that Beck did not shake hands with Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza after the 27-21 loss Monday night<\/a>, and there was footage of the Miami quarterback<\/a> quickly bolting to the locker room after his devastating game-sealing interception.<\/p>\n

Beck finished with 232 yards, one touchdown and the fourth-quarter interception, as Indiana won with its defense and one herculean touchdown run from Mendoza<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beck threw an interception in the final minute in Indiana territory to end the Hurricanes\u2019 season.<\/p>\n

After the interception, the Indiana celebration started, with just two last kneel downs needed to end the game. Indiana coach Curt Cignetti was showered with blue Gatorade as the final seconds ticked down.<\/p>\n

When the final whistle went off, Beck was seen running off into the locker room.<\/p>\n

Beck is projected to have made north of $3 million while at Miami this season as a sixth-year redshirt senior, and told reporters he\u2019s not been attending classes since graduating from college in 2023.<\/p>\n

Beck and his then-girlfriend Hanna Cavinder had their cars stolen last February<\/a>, with Beck losing a Lamborghini and Mercedes in the thievery. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis year at Miami was the best of my life,\u201d Beck said after his team fell short of its ultimate goal of a national title. <\/p>\n

While Beck has come under fire, Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. ran over<\/a> to Mendoza and shook his hand while Beck kept his helmet on and exited the field.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor it to end like that is hard. It\u2019s really tough, but again, a group that has faced so much adversity, to have that opportunity to win at the end says a lot about this team and about us,\u201d Beck said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Beck now heads into preparation for the NFL Draft, where he is ranked by ESPN\u2019s Mel Kiper as the No. 5 quarterback, behind Penn State\u2019s Drew Allar, Ole Miss\u2019 Trinidad Chambliss, Alabama\u2019s Ty Simpson and Mendoza.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"No class, no problem for Miami quarterback Carson Beck.
