Trump appeared at Davos remotely last year, a few days after his inauguration<\/p>\n

After a
\nseries of late-night Truth Social posts rattled America\u2019s allies, Donald Trump
\ntook a more measured attitude in his comments in the White House press
\nroom today. <\/p>\n

He said he “gets along well” with British PM Keir Starmer
\nand French President Emmanuel Macron, adding that the latter was “a
\nnice guy”.<\/p>\n

On his desire to acquire Greenland, Trump said that he
\nthinks “things are going to work out pretty well” and that he has “a lot of
\nmeetings scheduled” on the subject when he is in Davos, Switzerland, tomorrow.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not unusual for Trump to run hot and cold when dealing
\nwith foreign leaders, depending on the circumstances and his mood. In Davos
\nearlier today, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent counselled European leaders to
\nbe patient.<\/p>\n

But given the amount of push-back the American president
\nhas received from his foreign counterparts in the past few days, Trump may find
