\n\tKaramo Brown<\/a> skipped an appearance on CBS Mornings to promote the latest and final season of Netflix<\/a>\u2018s Queer Eye<\/a> as he \u201cworried about being bullied.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Fab Five was set to be interviewed on the CBS morning show to discuss the series\u2019 legacy after 10 seasons, but co-host Gayle King noted that Brown canceled his appearance about an hour beforehand.<\/p>\n

\n\tKing went on to read a statement to CBS News via Brown\u2019s assistant that read, \u201cThank you to everyone around the world for welcoming me into their homes for 10 seasons. Season 10 is amazing, and I know you will fall in love with the deserving people we helped.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThough the show is ending, I hope everyone remembers the main theme I have tried to teach them over the past decade, which is to focus on and to protect their mental health\/ peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it; which is why I can\u2019t be there today,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cThank you to the crew for being the best in business and the executives for believing in me. 10 Seasons, I\u2019m truly humbled.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter reading the statement, King noted that Brown\u2019s assistant also mentioned he was \u201cworried about being bullied.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Queer Eye cast that attended included Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, and Jeremiah Brent, with King turning the focus to them to ask them how they felt about Brown\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSurprise is a fair understatement,\u201d Porowski said. \u201cI will say, our Queer Eye family, we\u2019ve been doing this for almost a decade, which is pretty wild to believe, and families are complicated, and we\u2019re definitely not excluded from that. I think two things can exist at the same time, and while that is true, we\u2019re also here to showcase these incredible heroes and honor the legacy of this past decade of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBrent, who joined Queer Eye Season 9<\/a> following Bobby Berk\u2019s exit, interjected, saying his \u201cexperience in this group has been transformative,\u201d adding that he has \u201cfelt safe and supported by the people up here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve loved every second of this thing, and I am so excited that we get to do this and share this next season because this show really is just about highlighting the best of humanity,\u201d Brent said.<\/p>\n

\n\tKing circled back and asked the cast if they had anything to say to Brown directly, with Van Ness saying, \u201cOne thing that I\u2019ve been so honored to learn from Karamo in my time, just like he said in that package, we have to meet people where they\u2019re at. And he has taught people to center what they need, and I\u2019m actually really proud of him. Center what you need, do the things you need to do to take care of you. I\u2019d be lying if I didn\u2019t feel like that sometimes and so I think it\u2019s really beautiful and I think we do need to center what\u2019s best for us sometimes and my hat off to him for doing that today.\u201d<\/p>\n
