A social media<\/a> user is winning hearts after detailing the psychological toll of his \u20b942 lakh salary. The former corporate employee revealed in a viral video that despite the high pay, he felt “needy” and unworthy of his own success, ultimately deciding that money cannot be the true measure of a man’s wealth.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a good pay cheque but \u2018Aur, weekend kaisa tha?\u2019 Nahi suna kaafi dinon se so that makes it all worth it [How was your weekend? Haven\u2019t heard it for quite some time and that makes it all worth it],\u201d Shivam Lakhanpal wrote.<\/p>\n

Lakhanpal shared a video<\/a> that opens with a text insert reading, \u201cI quit my 42 LPA job.\u201d In the video, he says, \u201cThe measure of a man\u2019s wealth can\u2019t be money man, I know it can\u2019t be money.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continues, \u201cI quit my corporate job a few months ago, and it paid me \u20b942 lakh per annum.\u201d He goes on to explain how he was a \u201cneedy\u201d guy while working at the office. He recalled that when he sat in his \u20b918 lakh car for the first time after buying it while still at the job, he felt he didn\u2019t deserve it. \u201cI didn\u2019t feel manly enough to drive the own car that I have purchased\u201d<\/p>\n

However, things soon changed for him after he left his job. Lakhanpal explained that he is now happier, and the change shows on his face. He even loves taking rides in the same car. \u201cI drive it like a Batmobile.<\/p>\n
