\n\tBoth Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/a> and Jay Duplass<\/a> have been cast in Megan Park\u2019s upcoming Amazon Prime Video<\/a> series \u201cSterling Point,\u201d Variety has learned. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe young adult show was originally announced in January<\/a>. Morgan and Duplass will appear in recurring roles as Joe and Steven respectively. They will appear alongside previously announced cast members Ella Rubin, Am\u00e9lie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Bo Bragason, and Keen Ruffalo. <\/p>\n

\n\tExact plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources say the show follows a set of adopted twins (Rubin and Ruffalo) who travel to an island on a lake that was left to them by their estranged grandfather in his will. <\/p>\n

\n\tMorgan currently stars in the AMC series \u201cThe Walking Dead: Dead City,\u201d reprising the role of Negan that he first played in the mothership series. He also currently appears in the Prime Video series \u201cThe Boys,\u201d with that show prepping its fifth and final season. Morgan\u2019s other TV credits include \u201cThe Good Wife,\u201d \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy,\u201d and \u201cSupernatural,\u201d while he has been in films such as \u201cWatchmen,\u201d \u201cRampage,\u201d and \u201cP.S. I Love You.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAs an actor, Duplass\u2019 recently appeared in the shows \u201cPercy Jackson and the Olympians\u201d as Hades as well as \u201cIndustry\u201d and \u201cDying for Sex.\u201d He is known for his roles in shows like \u201cTransparent\u201d at Amazon, \u201cSearch Party\u201d at TBS, and \u201cThe Mindy Project\u201d at Hulu. He and his brother Mark are also celebrated film and television writers and directors, including work on shows like \u201cRoom 104,\u201d \u201cSomebody Somewhere,\u201d \u201cAnimals, and \u201cTogetherness.\u201d In film, Duplass has written and directed projects such as \u201cCyrus,\u201d \u201cJeff, Who Lives at Home,\u201d and \u201cBaghead\u201d among others. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe is repped by CAA and Odenkirk Provissero Entertainment. <\/p>\n

\n\tPark created \u201cSterling Point\u201d and will direct, executive produce, and serve as co-showrunner. YA veterans Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will also co-showrun and executive produce under their Fake Empire banner. LuckyChap, which produced Park\u2019s film \u201cMy Old Ass,\u201d will executive produce under its first-look TV deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
