\n Ohio Stadium will have a new look beginning in the 2026 season. <\/p>\n
\n\tWhile the Buckeyes are already set to have premium seating in the south end zone<\/a> beginning next season, Ohio State will have a new scoreboard in the north end zone as well.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe Board of Trustees, in December, approved a contract to replace the video board in the north end zone, along with several other upgrades and replacements, a project that has a $6.5 million budget and will be completed before the 2026 season kicks off:\n<\/p>\n \t\tReplace the east and west ribbon boards<\/p>\n \t\tReplace B-Deck video boards<\/p>\n \t\tReplace interior and exterior audio at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center<\/p>\n \t\tReplace the WHAC video board<\/p>\n \n\tThe scoreboard in the south end zone, along with ribbon board replacement, Pay Forward Society signage and audio replacements, is set to take place in 2027 but will be requested for approval by the Board of Trustees at a later date. That project will have a budget of $22 million and, if approved, will be completed prior to the 2027 season.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe scoreboard in the north endzone was last replaced in 2009, when Ohio State added an LED videoboard to that side of the stadium. The Buckeyes also replaced the ribbon boards on the east and west sides of the stadium that offseason, expanding them to reach from end zone to end zone.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe scoreboard in the south end zone \u2013 the main scoreboard \u2013 was last replaced in 2012, when OSU overhauled that videoboard, made it bigger, and added new sound systems and LED ribbon boards.\n<\/p>\n
