On Tuesday, Second Lady Usha Vance and Vice-President J.D. Vance announced they\u2019re expecting their fourth child. The baby, a boy, is due in July, they said in a joint statement<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy,\u201d they said. \u201cUsha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July.\u201d In the statement, they thanked their doctors for providing \u201cexcellent care\u201d and their staff \u201cwho do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children.\u201d<\/p>\n This is the first time in history a Second Lady has been pregnant while in office, per NBC News<\/a>. The Vances aren\u2019t the only White House couple expecting a baby \u2014 press secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/a> as well as Katie Miller<\/a> (Homeland Security adviser Stephen Miller\u2019s wife) also recently announced they were pregnant. Usha and J.D. already have three children: two boys, Ewan and Vivek, and a girl, Mirabel.
