The program aims to support children with mental health challenges and complex needs, who face difficulties being discharged from hospitals due to a lack of community resources. <\/p>\n<p>The program comes in collaboration with Hillside and URMC, among other regional hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>The program offers community-based services and a residential program providing 24\/7 support for up to 120 days. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cChildren don\u2019t have the right to a safe place to sleep in New York State. That\u2019s really true. They have the right to a free and appropriate education. But they do not have the right to a safe place to sleep in New York State.
