\n\tAmazon Prime Video<\/a>\u2018s \u201cBarbershop<\/a>\u201d TV series has added eight new actors in guest star roles, Variety has learned. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe new additions are: Zack Fox (\u201cAbbott Elementary,\u201d \u201cThe Vince Staples Show\u201d) as Alderman Warren; Ego Nwodim<\/a> (\u201cSaturday Night Live,\u201d \u201cPoker Face\u201d) as Shelly-Ann; Diallo Riddle (\u201cSouth Side,\u201d \u201cSherman\u2019s Showcase\u201d) as Pastor Devante; Ziwe (\u201cZiwe,\u201d \u201cDickinson\u201d) as Abbi; Tituss Burgess (\u201cUnbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,\u201d \u201cSchmigadoon\u201d) as Juan Grillz; Comedian CP (\u201cSunday After Six,\u201d \u201cHow to Die Alone\u201d) as Marvin; Devon Walker (\u201cSaturday Night Live,\u201d \u201cBig Mouth\u201d) as Southside Swole; and Belmont Cameli (\u201cSaved by the Bell,\u201d \u201cAlto Knights\u201d) as Shep. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe new additions will appear alongside series regulars Jermaine Fowler, Brett Gray, Punkie Johnson, Roy Wood Jr., and E.J. Bonilla. Recurring cast members include Bokeem Woodbine, Bresha Webb, Langston Kerman, and Tiana Okoye. <\/p>\n

\n\tPer the official logline, the show follows Travis \u201cTrav\u201d Porter (Fowler), \u201cwho endeavors to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, a legendary barber at the iconic Calvin\u2019s barbershop in Chicago. And while the barbers are new, the shop remains just as lively, the customers just as argumentative, and the fades are still the dopest in the city \u2014 because at Calvin\u2019s, the community comes together for way more than just a haircut.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMarshall Todd, who co-wrote the original film, is writing the series, executive producing, and co-showrunning. Max Searle will also executive produce and serve as co-showrunner. Kevin Hart, Bryan Smiley, and Mike Stein executive produce via Hartbeat Productions along with Bradley Gardner of Busy B Entertainment as well as Cameron Burnett and Autumn Bailey-Ford for Prominent Productions and George Tillman Jr. and Robert Teitel for State Street Pictures. Tiffany Brown will co-executive produce for Hartbeat. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios. <\/p>\n
