O\u2019Connell will remain at the company until March while a search for his replacement has begun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tO\u2019Connell will appear in the company\u2019s fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn a statement, AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan called O\u2019Connell a \u201ctrusted colleague\u201d and \u201csteady leader.\u201d Dolan added that O\u2019Connell\u2019s decision \u201ccomes with our full support, and we wish him every success in this next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tO\u2019Connell was named CFO of AMC Networks in August of 2022 after a career that spanned finance, media and e-commerce. He came to the entertainment company from BRANDED, a digital consumer platform, where he was chief strategy officer. Prior to that, O\u2019Connell worked at CBS and Goldman Sachs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAs CFO of AMC Networks, O\u2019Connell oversaw the finances of a portfolio spanning the streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE and the channels AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV and We TV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI am grateful to the Dolan family, the Board and the Company\u2019s leadership team for their support,\u201d O\u2019Connell said in a statement. \u201cIt has been a privilege to work with such a talented organization.
