Maya focuses on construction claims, contract administration and
\nbid protests for public agencies and private owners on major public
\nworks projects across the United States. Her practice centers on
\nhigh-stakes infrastructure matters involving delay and disruption
\nclaims, changes and extra work claims, liquidated damages, schedule
\nand cost impacts, differing site conditions, force majeure and
\nexcusable delay events, contract interpretation and procurement
\nchallenges. Maya represents clients in all phases of construction
\nand procurement disputes, from pre-claim counseling and contract
\nadministration through dispute review board proceedings, mediation,
\narbitration and trial. She holds a J.D. from the University of
\nHouston Law Center and a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at
\nAustin. She is based in Nossaman’s Los Angeles and Austin
\noffices.<\/p>\n

Kasia is a litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex
\nlitigation, business actions and commercial disputes. She has
\nextensive experience handling matters involving general liability
\nand product liability. She also practices insurance recovery and
\nhas significant experience working on multiparty cases. She
\nrepresents businesses and individuals as both plaintiffs and
\ndefendants in all stages of litigation, from early case assessment
\nand strategic negotiation to trial. She holds a J.D. from the
\nUniversity of California, Los Angeles School of Law and an M.A. and
\nB.A. from the University of San Francisco. She works out of the
