FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne City Utilities says a section of Broadway is closed Friday morning as crews work to repair a water main break during bitter cold conditions. <\/p>\n

The department says crews are repairing a water main on Broadway, between Cottage and Home Avenues, north of Bluffton Road. <\/p>\n

That section of Broadway is expected to be closed for four to six hours, City Utilities says. <\/p>\n

It comes as dangerously cold wind chills<\/a> are expected to plummet as low as -15 degrees throughout the day, with some rural areas dropping to -25 degrees or lower. <\/p>\n
