Longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton was in charge of Lopez\u2019s hair for the evening, which he said \u201cwas inspired by early 2000s supermodel glam,\u201d adding that he \u201creally wanted to compliment Jennifer\u2019s iconic color with the blonde pieces coming through. The single piece of hair that just fell down the middle of her face made the whole thing effortless.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
Lopez prepped her skin with her own J.Lo Beauty products, she told the outlet, and longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes created \u201can ultra-smokey eye and bronzed skin that complimented the naked nature of her gown,\u201d Harper\u2019s Bazaar reported. Aiming to make \u201cthe whole look into one polished, cohesive statement,\u201d Barnes said, \u201cThose hues didn\u2019t just flatter her, they completed her, echoing the richness of the gown and creating a seamless flow from complexion to fabric.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Lopez is on a brief hiatus in between legs of her new Las Vegas residency, which debuted on December 30 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. \u201cI\u2019m in my happy era,\u201d Lopez told the crowd from the stage.\n<\/p>\n
