Barcelona are reportedly close to signing young Dutch defender Juwensley Onstein from Jong Genk in the January transfer window.<\/p>\n
Reporter Matteo Moretto has posted an update on X and says \u201can agreement between the clubs is close\u201d and that Onstein has already given the transfer the green light.<\/p>\n
Onstein is an 18-year-old left-footed central defender who has been linked with a move to AC Milan, but it now seems that Barcelona are set to win the race for the defender.<\/p>\n
The youngster is a Netherlands U18 international who started out at Vitesse and then spent four years with Ajax\u2019s youth team. He joined Jong Genk on a free transfer in 2023 and certainly seems to have attracted interest from many of Europe\u2019s top clubs.<\/p>\n
