\n\tHaley Lu Richardson<\/a> broke out in a major way as Portia, Tanya\u2019s (Jennifer Coolidge) put-upon young assistant with a quirky style, penchant for bucket hats and questionable relationship choices in Season 2 of HBO\u2019s The White Lotus.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile her boss met her maker in the finale, Portia made it out of Italy alive, making her available to come back should The White Lotus<\/a> creator Mike White choose to revisit the character in future seasons. Richardson is game to do it. Why?<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just think that\u2019s a hilarious question,\u201d Richardson told Deadline at Sundance where she is supporting the premiere of Kogonada\u2019s movie zi, which she produces and stars in. \u201cPeople are like, \u2018Would you do it if they asked you back?\u2019 Obviously, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s a single one of us that probably wouldn\u2019t,\u201d Richardson said of her fellow White Lotus stars.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMike is a genius. I really trust him,\u201d she added. \u201cPorsha has her moments, but I have empathy for her, and I\u2019d play her again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for what Richardson thinks Portia is doing following the traumatic events in Sicily, \u201cI hope she\u2019s in therapy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tRichardson currently stars opposite Emilia Clarke in Peacock\u2019s Cold War spy comedy-drama Ponies<\/a> (Persons of No Interest). They play Bea (Clarke) and Twila (Richardson), secretaries at the American embassy in Moscow who start working for the CIA after their husbands, CIA operatives posing as American diplomats, die under mysterious circumstances.<\/p>\n

\n\tTwila is the tougher, more fearless of the two when they embark on the risky adventure. They get the hang of the spy craft by the end of the season only to find themself cornered, with KGB guns pointed at them in the finale cliffhanger. \n\tPonies has gotten off to a promising start, ranking among the top two titles on Peacock\u2019s daily Top 10 series in the U.S. since its launch; Luminate and Nielsen viewership data will shed light at the show\u2019s performance when it becomes available. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m literally waiting for a call to be like, \u2018Guys you did good enough to do a Season 2, but I haven\u2019t gotten that, so I don\u2019t know,\u201d Richardson said about a potential Season 2 renewal.<\/p>\n
