Barely a couple of weeks after ex-Red Wings forward Jakub Vrana<\/a> hacked Detroit<\/a> prospect Eemil Viro to the ice with a slash, Luke Witkowski<\/a> and Albin Grewe<\/a> clashed at the opening faceoff of a game between Brynas and Djurgarden.<\/p>\n Grewe, a Detroit draftee who never signed with the club, has grown into Sweden\u2019s version of Brad Marchand, an annoying, pesky presence. My stick doesn\u2019t even hit the face, so I don\u2019t understand what kind of expulsion it really is.\u201d<\/p>\n Witkowski vehemently denied he was faking it when struck by Grewe\u2019s stick.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate,\u201d Witkowski said. \u201cThe stick hits you in the face, that\u2019s what it is.
