The project seeks to expand an existing two-story commercial building to create 12 dwelling units just a block away from Mission Dolores. <a href=\"https:\/\/sfyimby.com\/neighborhoods\/mill-valley\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mill Valley<\/a>-based Real Equity Group One is the property owner.<\/p>\n<p>The 68-foot-tall structure is expected to contain around 20,500 square feet, including 12,480 square feet of housing and 3,000 square feet for the ground-floor garage. The complex is expected to have 12 dwelling units with the addition of an accessory dwelling unit. Apartment sizes vary with three one-bedrooms, seven two-bedrooms, and three three-bedrooms. Of the 11 units, two will be designated as affordable housing. SB423 allows the streamlined ministerial approval for qualifying projects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sfyimby.com\/category\/rg-architecture\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RG Architecture<\/a> is responsible for the design. Renderings have remained the same since pre-illustrations. Illustrations were submitted. The contemporary design is wrapped with shiplap siding, cast-in-place concrete, and standing-seam metal roofing.
