During a November 2025 interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, \u201cLandman\u201d co-creator Christian Wallace said he thinks \u201cit\u2019s the plan\u201d for season 3 to debut in 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cWe hate to make people wait too long, and we\u2019re all excited to get back and do it again. After we wrap, a couple weeks later, we\u2019re like, \u2018Dang, I miss everybody\u2019 \u2014 cast and crew,\u201c Wallace said. \u201dWe have such a great crew. I think we\u2019re ready to get back to it as soon as we can.”<\/p>\n Sam Elliott, who joined the cast for season 2, has said that filming will resume this spring.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re all kind of looking toward April and May when we start shooting season 3,\u201d Elliott told Extra TV<\/a> in November 2025. <\/p>\n The first two seasons of \u201cLandman\u201d premiered in November 2024 and November 2025, so a November 2026 premiere date for season 3 seems likely.<\/p>\n Warning: Spoilers ahead for season 2 of \u201cLandman.\u201d <\/p>\n Season 2 of \u201cLandman\u201d ended with a new beginning. After being fired from his longtime position at M-Tex Oil, Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) decided to go into business for himself with the financial backing of cartel boss Gallino (Andy Garcia). During the last moments of the season finale, Tommy presented the business plan to his family, closest colleagues and even his father T.L.\u2019s (Elliott) new unlicensed physical therapist Cheyenne (Francesca Xuereb), who also happens to be a stripper.<\/p>\n Tommy pointed out that his son, Cooper (Jacob Lofland), recently acquired \u201cseven square miles\u201d of oil drilling leases. With Gallino funding the drilling and an agreed upon 50\/50 split of the profits, \u201cwe\u2019ve got our own oil company,\u201d Tommy told his nearest and dearest. <\/p>\n The entire group, including Rebecca (Kayla Wallace), Nathan (Colm Feore) and Dale (James Jordan), agreed to the new venture.
