Anna Chlumsky praised former Veep costar Timothy Simons and his latest TV project, Netflix\u2019s Nobody Wants This, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE<\/p>\n

Chlumsky and Simons starred together as Amy Brookheimer and Jonah Ryan on seven seasons of Veep from 2012 to 2019<\/p>\n

In Nobody Wants This seasons 1 and 2, Simons plays Sasha Roklov, the brother of Adam Brody\u2019s Noah Roklov<\/p>\n

While Anna Chlumsky<\/a>\u2019s Veep character<\/a> admitted she \u201ccan\u2019t do being nice to people,\u201d\u00a0the actress that plays her sure can \u201cdo being nice\u201d in real life.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the premiere of the Broadway show Bug<\/a> in New York City on Jan. 8, Chlumsky hyped up former Veep costar Timothy Simons<\/a> and his latest TV project, Netflix\u2019s Nobody Wants This<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I\u2019ve seen it,\u201d Chlumsky, 45, said when asked if she\u2019s watched Simons, 47, star as Sasha Roklov, the brother of Adam Brody<\/a>\u2019s Noah Roklov.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s incredible. I\u2019m always so proud of Tim. He\u2019s the best. The best,\u201d the Bride Hard<\/a> star added of Simons\u2019 career and performance in the show.<\/p>\n

Timothy Simons as Sasha in \u2018Nobody Wants This\u2019 season 2 (2025)<\/p>\n

Nobody Wants This\u2019 season 2, which premiered in October, follows the end of Sasha\u2019s marriage to wife Esther (Jackie Tohn<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Simons told PEOPLE at the time<\/a> that he wouldn\u2019t change the way Sasha dealt with his marital issues in season 2 if he were in charge.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy advice for Sasha would be [do] what he\u2019s doing, which is, don\u2019t try to hold on too tight if she needs that. Give her space and let her figure it out. You can\u2019t force somebody to be there,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Simons and Chlumsky starred together on all seven seasons of Veep<\/a> from 2012 to 2019. Simons played Jonah Ryan, a White House liaison turned congressman.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the My Girl<\/a> star played Amy Brookheimer, the chief of staff to Vice President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Veep<\/a> seasons 1 through 7 are available to stream on HBO Max. Both seasons of Nobody Wants This<\/a> are available to stream on Netflix.<\/p>\n
