Well, not by default, but you can indeed set a screen lock for your Galaxy Watch if you want that extra peace of mind.<\/p>\n<p>You won&#8217;t have a fingerprint option, of course, because the Galaxy Watch doesn&#8217;t have a fingerprint reader. But you can set a PIN or pattern-based screen lock on your new wearable. Even so, it works a little differently than it does on your phone. Here&#8217;s all you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>\nSet up a screen lock option for your Galaxy Watch\n<\/p>\n<p>The clever thing about the Galaxy Watch screen lock security layer is that, once you set it up, it only activates after you remove the smartwatch from your wrist.\n<\/p>\n<p>As long as you&#8217;re wearing the Galaxy Watch, it will remain unlocked until it no longer detects your wrist.
