Ahead of the 2026 season, Pohlad has \u201ccalled 50 season-ticket holders who have yet to renew for the 2026 season, though many calls went to voicemails,\u201d and he has \u201cinvited another 40-50 canceled season-ticket holders for a town hall event\u201d during this past weekend\u2019s TwinsFest. Pohlad said, \u201cIn a lot of things we tripped over ourselves, if you will, and we certainly didn\u2019t do a good job communicating what we were going through and what we were trying to accomplish. You take that all together and it\u2019s a recipe for a very challenging time. We\u2019re trying to hit the reset button &#8212; not a rebuild button, but a reset button.\u201d Nightengale noted the Twins have a projected Opening Day payroll hovering around $108M, which would be their \u201clowest figure since 2017.\u201d Still, Pohlad said he is \u201cinvested\u201d and \u201cengaged.\u201d Pohlad: \u201cI\u2019m going to push on everybody to get creative and get aggressive on how we turn this business around, period.
