Formerly the lone signee at his position in the 2023 class, former Penn State<\/a> quarterback Bekkem Kritza has now found his new transfer home.<\/p>\n

Kritza will play his redshirt freshman season at FCS Alabama A&M, he announced via social media on Monday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kritza joined Penn State as a three-star prospect and the No. 51 quarterback in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite.<\/p>\n

The 6-5, 199-pounder was an obvious project piece when he enrolled, needing to not only work on his frame but also his passing accuracy. That was after a bit of a whirlwind recruitment that saw Kritza transfer five times as a high schooler and lose his starting QB job twice at the same program.<\/p>\n

However, there were portions of the coaching staff that strongly believed in his potential.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that kid is unbelievable,\u201d director of player personnel Kenny Sanders said on signing day. \u201cI think I told somebody once, he might have the best raw arm talent I\u2019ve ever seen coming out of high school. … He\u2019s such an unpolished gem, in my opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n

After not appearing in a game as a true freshman at Penn State, Kritza will have four years of eligibility remaining at Alabama A&M. 247Sports rated him as a three-star transfer and the No. 90 QB in the portal.<\/p>\n
