Kristen Stewart revealed in a recent interview with The Times of London<\/a> that she will \u201cprobably not\u201d stay in the U.S., explaining: \u201cReality is breaking completely under Trump. But we should take a page out of his book and create the reality we want to live in.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if she will be in the U.S. as Trump continues to lead, the Oscar nominee responded: \u201cProbably not. I can\u2019t work freely there. But I don\u2019t want to give up completely. I\u2019d like to make movies in Europe and then shove them down the throat of the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many celebrities have left the U.S. amid Trump\u2019s second presidency, including Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O\u2019Donnell. While Oscar-winning James Cameron originally moved to New Zealand to work on his \u201cAvatar\u201d film franchise, he recently made headlines for saying he will not likely return to America.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the pandemic hit\u2026 [New Zealand] had eliminated the virus completely,\u201d Cameron said on a recent episode of \u201cIn Depth with Graham Bensinger\u201d\u00a0podcast<\/a> about his reason for getting out of the U.S. \u201cThey actually eliminated the virus twice. The third time when it showed up in a mutated form, it broke through. But fortunately, they already had a 98% vaccination rate. This is why I love New Zealand. People there are, for the most part, sane as opposed to the United States where you had a 62% vaccination rate, and that\u2019s going down \u2013 going the wrong direction.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere would you rather live?\u201d Cameron continued. \u201cA place that actually believes in science and is sane and where people can work together cohesively to a common goal, or a place where everybody\u2019s at each other\u2019s throats, extremely polarized, turning its back on science and basically would be in utter disarray if another pandemic appears\u2026 I\u2019m not there for scenery, I\u2019m there for the sanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Variety\u00a0earlier this year,<\/a>\u00a0O\u2019Donnell said she currently has no plans to move back to the United States. She explained: \u201cWith the current political climate, when would it be safe to come back with my child? I\u2019m not going to push it before this administration is completely finished, and hopefully held accountable for their crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Stewart, she has a history with Trump after he infamously tweeted abo<\/a>ut her personal life in 2012. Trump encouraged Stewart\u2019s then-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, to dump her. Stewart reflected on Trump\u2019s messages a few years later during an interview with Variety.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was mad at me a couple years ago, really obsessed with me a couple years ago, which is fucking crazy,\u201d Stewart said at the\u00a0time. \u201cI can\u2019t even understand it. I literally cannot even understand it. It\u2019s such far-out concept that I don\u2019t want to believe that actually is happening. It\u2019s insane.\u201d<\/p>\n
