OKAY, LET\u2019S START WITH THIS PRT RAIL RIDERS HEAD UP THAT ONLY ONE CAR IS ABLE TO LEAVE THE RAIL YARD. IT IS THE RED LINE FROM MOUNT LEBANON TO ALLEGHENY STATION. HERE\u2019S WHAT HAPPENED. SOME OVERHEAD POWER LINES CAME DOWN OVERNIGHT, SO THE POWER HAD TO BE SHUT DOWN TO MOST OF THE RAIL YARD. THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A COUPLE SHUTTLES RUNNING, BUT THEY ONLY HAVE TWO AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW TO HELP WITH THAT. SO THEY ARE ADVISING YOU TAKE BUSSES TO THE CITY IF YOU HAVE TO, AND THEY\u2019RE ACTUALLY SAYING EVEN THOUGH THEY DO HAVE THIS ONE RAIL CAR RUNNING, THEY SAY\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tOn Wednesday morning, Pittsburgh Regional Transit announced that crews had to shut down the majority of power to the rail system after an overhead power line came down.The transit agency posted to X that no trains are able to leave the rail yard.They later added in a post, \u201cOnly two buses are currently available. One will run from Library Station to Washington Junction and the other bus from Washington Junction to South Hill Junction. From there riders can take any inbound bus to downtown. We do have one rail car available. It will run via the Red Line from Mt. Lebanon to Allegheny Station. We are working to get additional shuttles while crews work on the overhead. With temperatures near 0, we suggest not using the rail system unless you absolutely have to until this issue is resolved.\u201d\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
